so, shady friends who are hoarders and have nowhere for their baby to stay?
i'm pretty sure his mom and her mom are going to go in, clean the room out, and get everything ready as the nursery. and it makes me SO MAD because these 2 are alllllllways on the "lack of personal responsibility" train and it's ridiculous that they cannot even get a home ready FOR THEIR OWN CHILD.
i think some people don't deserve kids.

you're just not supposed to put it on the wedding invites. what's the big deal about telling people you're registering? it's fun.
also, i wish i could make a birthday registry, because i have the WORST time coming up with stuff on the spot when people ask me.

yeah, i would love to make birthday/holiday registries.
i know about the invites but i always thought you tell your MOH or people close to you and they can share that info or you only tell people where you are registered if they ask. otherwise, i think it's like saying "please be sure to get my gift here"
Adventures of A Girl and Her Apron
I forgot about those! I did this one year so I could keep a tally of things I need/want throughout the year for when my parents would ask. All year there are things like kitchen gadgets or books that I realize I really want and then when it comes time for my bday or the holidays, I can never think of anything I want when someone asks.

there is no way that crib is safe...and who keeps a crib for 11 years????
I guess if it was a convertible and they converted it to a bed they would have kept it that long but still....
I have been all about the hand-me-downs and freecycle stuff for the baby, but even I insisted on a new crib. They revise the safety standards so often I wanted something new.
