any mankato grads?

dh's cousin is graduating from hs and will be going to mankato next year. his grad party is tomorrow and someone hasn't gotten a gift like he said he would. i'm thinking we could get a gift card to a pizza chian near campus and box it up with some other things you can use for food living in a dorm.  i need to know where kids there eat (pizza hut, papa johns, jimmy johns...)  also any suggestions on what else to throw in with a gift card?

Within a few blocks of the campus are Noodles, Chipotle, Dominos, Jimmy Johns and Cold Stone. There are a couple local places that are popular (Boomtown and Jake's Stadium Pizza) but it doesn't look like you can order gift cards online. There is also Buffalo Wild Wings downtown which is not far from campus.

My sister is going to Mankato next year!  What a great idea for a gift, if we hadn't already got her a digital camera I would totally do this!

Thanks! That's really helpful. I think I'll get a couple of those!

(We were thinking about a digital camera, but DH just got the grad's older brother a flash drigve when he graduated so it didn't seem quite fair...)

Like a PP mentioned there is a little strip mall by campus that has some chain food places in it. By far the #1 pizza in town is Pizza Man. Their pizza and bread sticks were ordered by someone on my dorm floor nightly! It used to be really close to campus until a fire gutted that location. They have since reopened in a new location and while it's not as close, it's still pretty close and convenient to campus. They delivery also which is nice.

I graduated 5 years ago from Mankato, but when I was down there Jake's Stadium Pizza was really popular!
