Garden Ladies!

So since FIL destroyed the front patch by not watering it, we're going to rip it up and plant new. What have you found grows the absolute best? We have plenty of tomatoes, so I'm thinking I'll do some peppers and eggplant, but what else grows like a darn weed for you?

  • I haven't tried it here yet, but my basil grew almost without effort for me in Italy. The weather was pretty similar (maybe a bit more rain, but just barely), so I'd think it would do pretty well here. I just made sure the soil was good to start with and it went nuts!
Awesome pic of hubby and DS#1
