Our 72 hour notice ends Monday and if we don't have half the rent back then, it goes to the courts, which means court fees. If we did get half the rent paid before monday, then the rest would have to be paid by the 15th.
I called community action and they never called me back (which means they are out of money), We have our car and few other things for sale but, haven't had luck so far.
I found out about st. v three days ago and have spend three days on hold most of the day. (one day I was sick and the other two I was waiting on people to come look at the car.
I was wondering some of the resources are for the homeless in Portland metro. We also have two cats, a dog and a snake.
Re: What are local resources for the homeless/ soon to be homeless
I know it's not helpful, but I just wanted to chime in and say I hope that things turn around soon, and that you are able to figure something out. I don't have any ideas for you, but as soon as I saw your post I started trying to figure out how the hubby and I could take you in (not possible, we already have a full house and I'm deathly afraid of snakes).
I wish you all the best - and hope that things change for the better - and soon!
