Re: PG/Mom Check-In
I can't believe in 10 weeks or so I will be meeting our Little Man. It is getting so surreal. The Nursery is almost completed (and man will I be grateful once it is) and we are slowly getting the rest of the house in order.
H has been working CRAZY hours at work the last few weeks, because he is having surgery on his deviated septum Next Thursday and will be out of work for 2.5- 3 weeks. While the money is going to be nice when we see it, I sure miss my H too.
I have my breastfeeding class at the hospital tomorrow and then our all day Labor class on Saturday. I am very excited to see how everything goes, but know H is not going to be thrilled about a 70 hour work week and then a 9-5 Labor class on his only day off (at least he has a vacation of sorts coming up.)
Honestly I feel great and am so blessed to have had an "easy" pregnancy so far compared to what I see/hear others going through. I just can't get over how blessed each of us are to have our little miracle(s) growing inside of us. I am hoping that there are many more BFPs on this board soon.

I'm doing ok. I feel queasy most of the day, but I haven't actually gotten sick, so I'm thankful for that. Eating isn't going well though. I get hungry, but nothing sounds appealing, and once I finally crave something and eat it, it usually makes me feel sick. Saturday I had my first migraine while pregnant, and the headache continued yesterday, so that was no fun. I'm really, really looking forward to 2nd trimester! I love my baby, and I know it's part of the process, but this part kinda sucks! I'm looking forward to enjoying food and not feeling crappy all the time.
Oh, and based on my doctor's appointment last week, my EDD is 1/27/12.
I felt the same way in the beginning, now I cant believe I only have 6 more weeks left. It is so sureal. Enjoy each week as they will start to fly by. Start organizing your house and your LO's room. I wish I would have started that a little earlier, although everyday projects come along and they are harder and harder to do when you are at my stage.
Good luck!!!
Where are you taking your BF class tomorrow? DH and I have ours at St. Josephs Womans Hospital tomorrow night. I know he is not very excited about going but I feel like he needs to be there to hear the stuff so he can support me and help me if things arent going as well as they should.
I am plugging along. I did some more organizing in the baby's room this weekend. I got all the boxes unpacked from the shower and we put the stroller together and the pack and play. Once we get the 2 dressers that will help to make me even more organized.
Needless to say I did not sit down one bit this weekend. So my feet are sore and tired today. Tonight I will be resting and watching TV.
I have my doctors appointment on Friday and I begin going every 2 weeks now. Cant believe its getting so close! LO moves around so much and I cant wait to meet him!!!
Mine is at Brandon b/c that is where I am delivering. I kinda wish I was going out to St Joes though. They are both just as far from my house.

I just hit 11 weeks and I have a lime!
Roses, hang in there! I felt exactly like you did and it did stink. I didn't believe there would ever be an end, but there is! I still get that terrible full feeling after just a few bites, after feeling like I would starve to death the minute before, but I have just learned to eat more frequent smaller meals. But the nausea is practically gone and the exhaustion is really letting up. In the beginning the only food I could tolerate was crap which was frusterating because I was doing so good with eating pretty clean and healthy. But now I'm finally craving healthy things again! Whew, I'm back in the land of the living!
I'm getting terrible stinging back pains after about 5 hours of work (I work on my feet) which is awful. If it gets worse I will not be able to work more than 5 hours which will seriously cramp my style. When I weighed 20 lbs more than I do now I had lower back pain but this is different and worse. I bought some awesome New Balance inserts for my shoes today so hopefully that helps, and I will talk to my Dr at my next appt for my screening on the 21st.
