PG ladies: when did your fatigue get a bit better?
Everything I've seen/read says it supposed to get better/less by the 2nd tri, but it still hasn't for me. By the time I get home at 5:00 it feels like I've just run a marathon. I'm asleep by 8-8:30ish. I get SO tired, I just can't keep my eyes open. I damn near fell asleep unloading the dishwasher the other night, my eyes kept closing. Is it normal to be this tired, I've never been this tired in my entire life.
Re: PG ladies: when did your fatigue get a bit better?
Not until after the baby was born. Although, I do recall being less tired (though nowhere near energetic) around 20-25-ish weeks, then the fatigue hit me like a truck again.
It is normal to be tired, mine never went away, I was exhausted the whole time.
btw - April is a great month to have a baby
Doesn't low iron levels make one tired? At your next appt, you might ask to be checked for anemia. I know women are esp. suspectible to anemia . . .
My fatigue improved around week 12. But then I got hit with a terrible cold that wiped me out.
I'm almost 17 weeks now. And haven't taken a nap in over a month. I still feel tired, but I'm staying awake till a normal hour.
But I have really fitful nights of sleep. Getting up to drink, pee, change positions. I think the constantly disrupted sleep is getting to me.
