Re: How was your weekend?
weekend was pretty good. friday night we tested out a new margarita recipe (made with beer! it's delicious!) and some friends stopped over to help us
it was fun and i still got to bed at a decent time. Saturday was good...started early with B's swim lessons at 8am...he did ok...there was one kid who screamed through the entire thing so think that freaked B out a little bit. he likes jumping off the side of the pool. H did yardwork and after B's nap i went and got a pool pass and B and i went to the lcoal pool for a bit. my granparents got us a conversation set for our patio as a housewarming gift so we're pumped about that...set it up that evening. had cheesesteaks for dinner
yesterday, H went golfing for freakin 7 hours. i went shopping for a bit with my mom. relaxed while B napped. pretty chill.
Ours was nice, if uneventful.
Saturday H didn't work till 2pm and Sunday he was off, so I got to sleep in both days. Which was really nice. Baby Rebel is an early riser and that gets annoying.y
Sunday after I slept in and Baby Rebel took a nap we did some stuff together. We ran to Costco to get a few things and then we stopped at the mall to let Baby Rebel play in the play area. We haven't gone since he started walking so we wanted to see what he did. He had fun and explored the area quite a bit.
We went out to eat after to celebrate Father's Day since H works 12 hours all next weekend. K did really good and was so happy the whole time. Probably because he was out past his bedtime.
My Profile
I've heard of recipes like that but haven't tried one yet. I guess Ill have to try it this summer!
they're so good!! my H was skeptical...but he was pleasently suprised!
we made them this way:
6 oz frozen limeade, thawed
6 oz corona light
6 oz tequila (we used silver...the clear stuff)
put in a blender, fill with ice and blend. serve w. salted rim and a lime garnish. yummmmmm
Oh, I thought you meant beer instead of the tequila, not in addition too. I'm not too interested in that. Hangover waiting to happen!
Our weekend was pretty uneventful. Went to the mall as usual and then saw Bridesmaids. It was okay. There was a lady with a 5 year old in there - mom of the year!
Other than that we just cleaned and stuff. We did go to meet some of H's work peeps out at their campsite and just had some drinks/made smores. It was fun and relaxing.
weekend was good! of course as always it went by too fast. Friday night was chill, saturday I met up with MD to see Bridesmaids....and yes, it was hilarious!
Plus i had great company! Saturday night h & i went shopping for a gift for my step sister's baby shower, it was funny watching him try to find things in toys-r-us...cute.
Sunday, church, brkfast, then I met a friend for lunch at cheese cake factory, good stuff. Then relaxing night with h....except i had nightmares last night cause we watched apocalypto. Gorey stuff, don't recommend it b4 bedtime.
