best: DH finding the new car he wants, and spending sunday afternoon shopping with my mom and sister
worst: realizing i'd forgotten how different it is shopping with them....we were at target for FOUR HOURS. my sister likes to try on every. single. thing. that she might like...and then she has to try on every color she might like. and in 2 sizes. it is EXHAUSTING

best - my sis' bachelorette party on sat, hanging out at the pool on sunday, getting an iphone!!
worst - getting a little too much sun yesterday
Best - wedding for a good friend on Saturday and buying our nursery furniture!!
Worst - H and I both not feeling good yesterday but still have a ton of stuff we had to get done.
**ETA another worst - having to call the fire department b/c of crazy smoke in the woods behind our house. Turns out some genius neighbors decided to build a pit fire and were planning on grilling out. Seriously people?!?! It's drier than the grand canyon out there and like 95 degrees. Gotta love stupid people.
BEST - relaxing weekend, DH bought a power washer and I got a new outdoor dining set.
WORST - AJ bit me multiple times while nursing and my nips HURT. The little barracuda drew blood!!! I cringe every time I feed him now because I'm scared I'm going to get bitten.
Ohhhh, what kind of car????
Best - getting the dining room painted (all that's left is the trim around the window), saw X-Men with friends
Worst - the main A/C unit going out, indecision about light fixtures, paint and supplies costing more than I expected
a hyundai sonata SE. we'll probably wait about 3 months so we can pay down the CCs some, and then hopefully the 2012 model will be out and he can get the 2011 for a better price.
AND the money we'll save in fuel costs with his commute will offset a decent chunk of the car payment.

DH used to have a sonata SE (2009 i think) and he loved it. It was a great car, he just got rid of it for a Tahoe once we had the baby (you know b/c babies take up soooo much room...I like the sonata better)
Best: Fun ride and hanging out with my teammates on Saturday in the mountains, grilling out w/DH last night
Worst: Having the fire alarm go off at the Atlanta Fish Market during dinner. Atlanta firemen came rushing in. It was a little disturbing, but at least there was no real emergency. (The server said they'd had a problem w/the alarm all week.)

we just sat in it at the dealership, and DH cannot stop talking about being able to start it with a button!
i want a mid-size SUV, so we figure once we decide to have babies we'll have 2 cars that can accommodate a kid.
My Shopping Blog
One of my co-workers has a 2010 and she loves it but her start button is messed up now. She has to hold the button down for 45 seconds to a minute before it will work. It's so weird! I'm sure Hyundai will fix it but she hasn't had time to take it in.
Best: Getting a new car, a 2002 Honda Odyssey. I don't have any pics online, but this is what it looks like (color and all):
It rides very comfortably and is not as much of a yacht to drive as I thought. I do like it.
Worst: Having to sell my beloved xB, sunburning my right shoulder and neck while car shopping and being laid out yesterday with a headache.
best: it was a pretty good weekend - pool time, der biergarten, wisteria, camp slaughter at dad's garage, finally trying Peter Chang's!
worst: cramps and bloating pretty much all weekend.
Adventures of A Girl and Her Apron
Best: spending time with my family, especially family that I haven't seen in several years.
Worst: my Grammy's funeral. Very sad.
best: kept busy all weekend. Saw my friends in person on Sun morning for coffee. Hit the pool & loved it. Saw Fast5 late on Sat night. It was fun
worst: Broke my handmixer on creamcheese icing
while making my sister's b-day cake. DH is battling an infection and still running. He's not the brightest crayon in the box, sometimes. He swore he's taking off running after the Peachtree to heal.

Best: Seeing Mumford & Son's Sunday night. They were awesome.
Worst: The opening bands were terrible this time. The last show they were phenomenal this time I couldn't wait for them to get off the stage.
Best: Friday night date night and Sunday lunch at Papis
Worst: Had the WORST experience at a vet and ended up walking out without any services but still had to pay for the office visit (in which the vet did nothing for my dog, just talked about a program we should sign up for).
