Re: iphone users, come in
A few Apps:
Red Laser - AWEsome when you're out shopping and want to comparison shop. Like when we're at BestBuy and are about to buy a DVD - we can scan it and BB will pricematch the amount
AmEx & MINT - both used to track shopping/spending
Shazam - it will listen to whatever song is playing and tell you the artist, name, find it on iTunes, etc. Also, Pandora - free satellite radio
HBOGo - awesome if you have HBO. Also Xfinity app - you can control you cable box from you phone.
Camera+ - really cool camera app
Fandango/Flixter - movie apps
Facebook.
UrbanSpoon or OpenTable - help find restaurants/make reservations when you're out and about.
ANGRY BIRDS. worst addiction ever. I have beat it. Including the seasonal ones.
Call me Kat =^..^=
does iphone have the rio one?! it's so prettttttyyyyyyy
My Shopping Blog
My must-have apps:
Facebook & Twitter
The Weather Channel - better than the stock one, but not as good as the iPad one
Flixter - shows all movies, times, trailers, dvd releases, etc.
Open Table - no lie, I once walked up to Trader Vic's in the Hilton during Dragon*Con and was told they were doing reservation only that night. I went around the corner, got a reservation and walked right back up and got seated. HA!
Amazon, ebay, IMDB (so handy!), Netflix
Travel: Fly Delta, GateGuru (awesome for airport maps, dining, etc.)
Games: Bejewelled 2, Peggle, Words with Friends, Paper Toss, Drop 7
AroundMe: looks up anything around you - banks, bars, restaurants, retail stores, hotels, etc. We use it all the time, especially when traveling.
The Weather Channel: self explanatory
Skype: great for when DH is traveling for work internationally
Bump: automatically downloads other iphone users contact info by just "bumping" phones
Google: self explanatory
Scoutmob: self explanatory
ESPN Scorecenter: gives up to the minute scores for any games going on (college and pro) - football, basketball, baseball, etc.
Flashlight: click of a button creates a flashlight
Wikipanion: like wikipedia, but for the iphone
Fox News: self explanatory
Ones other people mentioned that I love and use a lot: Shazam, Urbanspoon, Facebook, RedLaser, Pandora, Fly Delta
i got upgraded to the iphone 4 and I have to take it back. My phone stopped being able to turn on/off. So yeah...
But I do like my apps. Mine are pretty much the same as the ones mentioned:
IMDb
Twitter
Flashlight
OpenTable
FB
Scoutmob
Fandango
Netflix
Phoneflix
Pandora
Dictionary
SparkPeople
Get Running
Groupon
Shazam
Sit or Squat - finds the nearest bathroom!
slydial - I haven't used this but I think it lets you call people without your name showing on their caller id
Swagg - haven't used this either but it lets you load all your gift cards on it so you don't have to carry them around
Taxi
UrbanSpoon
WebMD
Adventures of A Girl and Her Apron
