I'm throwing my BFF a shower later this summer. Anyone know of any cute favors to get/make? (She is having a girl, but doesn't want it to be total pink themed!)
Thanks so much for your help!

Something edible.

Thinking of doing cosmetic updates to a dated home? These were our costs.
Here are a few ideas from hostess blog I thought were cute. The first one with the pastel pink, green and yellow is just adorable!

How about a white box with little chocolates? You can tie a non-pink ribbon on it and create a non-pink favor tag - maybe something tha matches the invite colors/theme. Think Dove chocolates, kisses, M&Ms.
You could also do the same ribbon and favor tag on a clear baggie with a big fancy cookie from a bakery. Or even the mom's favorite grocery store cookie.
Simple & edible, but you can make it match the shower with the ribbon and tag. HTH!
I also agree with something edible or the small mirrors. Maybe cupcakes with pink icing? Cookies? A small box of candy. I went to a shower where they had a full sized gourmet cupcake that was the favorite of the person for whom the shower was held. Everyone was impressed. And they were awesome!
I'm throwing a shower this weekend and we are doing onesie cutout cookies as the favors. We designed the invitations and they are pastel green, purple and blue. The guest of honor doesn't know if its a boy or a girl so we thought this was a cute theme.
You could just pick a fun color scheme (turquoise and orange, green and pink, turquoise and yellow) and put whatever favor you choose in a box with a ribbon to match. I think choosing something other than pink is refreshing!
