Teacher and her 2 children killed by father
So tragic. A man who had a restraining order that was supposed to keep him away from his wife and kids broke into their house today in Dexter and killed them all. A police officer went to check on the family after the school said the teacher and the kids hadn't shown up to school and interrupted the plan. There was a police standoff and they found gas or other accelerant splashed all over the house.

This is horrible. Apparently the dad had held them at gunpoint last June and was awaiting trial.
My heart aches for this family.
Yeah really. Apparently they expected a lousy piece of paper that says "Restraining Order" to keep a lunatic like this away. WTF.
So awful. Restraining orders do nothing to help people when they are sick and want to follow thru with something. That is so devastating.
Agreed. It's horrific.
