Another vinegar ??

A woman I clean for has me use vinegar on her kitchen/ dining room floor. They are pergo. But it's like... straight vinegar and the smells drives me batty after awhile. She says it's the only thing not to streak. Do you think if I had some water to dilute it it still wouldn't streak? (she's particular and I don't want to have it look bad at all so I'm nervous to just do it and then it's all streaky)

Re: Another vinegar ??

  • I don't really know if it will streak or not, but I clean homes also, and I just like to keep them happy. You don't have to live with the smell, you're only there for a little bit [and getting paid for it], so I say try to suck it up and get out as quick as you can.

  • DH read this over my shoulder and suggested apple cider vinegar.

  • I clean my pergo with a diluted vinegar solution and get no streaks
