So I?m thinking about buying a Dyson but I?m trying to decide if I should get the Dyson DC33 Multi Floors Upright Vacuum OR the Dyson DC28 Animal Bagless Upright Vacuum Cleaner. Only reason I?m thinking I might need the DC28 is because I have a husky that sheds like crazy and a boxer but I?m thinking would the DC33 just do as well as the DC28. Let me know your input.
Re: Need help with Vacuum
Another husky owner here--I have a model that was on sale during the Christmas season and got it at a really good price. It is not the animal model but still is SO MUCH better than my old Hoover at picking up animal hair. I could be the test house since in addition to the husky, I also have a Pyrenees who also has the double coat and weighs 140 lbs. and four cats. As the inhabitant of the Hair House, I rec the Dyson and the Furminator brush for the dogs, both of which I used to look at as too pricey and thought they couldn't possibly be worth the cost. Wrong--they make a tremendous difference and are a long-term investment. Furminators can be found at a lower cost on Amazon and get out a tremendous amount of hair before it ever gets on the floor.
I know someone who bought a refurbished Dyson from Amazon for a low price and is pleased. Also--are you feeding grain-free food to the husky? This is another thing that I didn't think made that much difference and was wrong about. Feeding grain-free food won't stop all of the shedding, but it makes it much less and she smells better too.
