My baby shower happened last Sunday, long sharey story and Pics inside
I completely forgot to share the details, I forget everything these days.
Thankfully, there wasn't drama (that I was aware of at the time it happened, only after) so I was able to fully enjoy my party. *Remember, I was all concerned about my husband's mother/sister's crashing and starting a ruckus? None to be found. Whew! The only "drama" I had was my husband's cousin (who, for every event and holiday we've been VERY generous to, came and drank and didnt even bring a card!) anyway, she decided to tell my husband that:
1. "Alisha/you think you're better than everyone else because you registered @ Buy Buy Baby instead of Babies R Us" (huh?)
2. "Alisha thinks she's better than people because she "had" to have a Bugaboo stroller" (Where does this come from?)
3. "Alisha is wearing stilettos because she's trying to show off".
4. "Oh, Alisha just HAD to have a cake from XXX bakery only because they are super expensive.".
Um, WHAT? LOL. So, she did this out of earshot of me, and the husband just calmly and politely told her "We registered @BBB because we liked what they had there, end of story. We bought our own Bugaboo and nursery furniture because WE want what we want and our daughter will have everything she wants, she wears stilettos to every event you've ever seen her at, what do you care? And every function that we have ever hosted and has been FOR us, we have a cake from XXX because its her favorite. Why the hell are you here, anyway?"
I'm so proud of him for because he is incredibly patient, and quiet and tends to just ignore people, but he confronted her and shut her right up. Im also glad she did this out of earshot of me because she's been really passive/aggressive with me lately, and I'd have totally snatchedab!tch. LOLOL
Anyway, on to a couple of pics. *The whale in lavender that you see would be me. LOL. So far, I gained 20lbs, but that's alot for me being so short. *Refer to my profile picture to see what I normally look like and you'll understand..lol.

I can't believe you're still walking around in 6" heels this late in your pregnancy, I don't think I could walk in them period, nevermind do it with that adorable bump.
Anyway, you look fabulous and I love the way your hubby dealt with that cousin.
Um, I would break my azz if I tried wearing heels like that even not pregnant, so more power to you!!

With regards to the shoes (for those of you who think you cant walk in them) - the weight of your body is placed in the ball of your foot, you are not balancing on the "spike" - so, its alot easier to walk in them than you think. *See how much room I have in the front of my shoe? Its wider than it looks.
As for his cousin- she's a nasty, bitter, jealous broad. And she doesnt even try to hide it. She's a major gossip, and when I realized it, I backed away from her - I mean, if she can say all these things about EVERYONE - wth is she saying about me when Im not around? I cant deal with that kind of nonsense, and she's just a sad person. So, she just makes herself look bad ya know?
Im just really happy that DH handled her. Alot of my frustration with him comes from him being so laid back and not confronting people when they talk smack. lol.
I on the other hand am the total opposite. LMAO

I, too, am a heel person and I tried to wear them to my shower - but my feet were SO SWOLLEN nothing but flip flops would fit :-(
