i wish i were more like ya'll! just thinking about the work it takes would make me overwhelmed and anxious. your kiddos are lucky :-)

That is nice of you to say.  It's not "work" though when it is fun.  It's just... being crafty.  I really enjoyed planning every detail of my wedding from making all our invitations (to look like an expensive pocketfold with 5 inserts), doing the programs, making all the favor boxes, making the guest boxes, etc.  I think I'm personally a wannabe CalmeKel with maybe half the talent.  Maybe.

I love following Kelly's work from weddings to showers to parties for K.

  • I keep reading this as Kelly "is" the hostess with the mostess.

Not that that isn't correct Wink

  • wow that party was unreal! congrats Kelly.  I'd love to know how much you spent on her party but that's probably an inappropriate question, huh?
  • Holy cow!  That looks amazing.  This is why I should never have kids - I have absolutely no vision to make a kids party this fantastic.  That is so outside anything I would ever conceive for a birthday celebration.  I'm sorry if this is a stupid question, but is this what kids parties are usually like these days?  The parties I went to growing up usually involved a back yard, a slip-n-slide, and a Raggedy Ann cake.
