Father's Day gifts
Just wondering what you're getting you're getting for your dad/dh for father's day. I'm a big procrastinator and I have no idea what to get this year.

We don't go crazy for Father's Day/Mother's Day.
We got my dad a Yuengling shirt from when we toured the brewery in Florida.

Then on Saturday I think I'm going to make something with Emma's handprints for him to take to work. Maybe something like Hands down you are the best dad around. Or something equally sappy. Not sure on this yet.

I saw this online and I was thinking about doing this. I think it's so cute!
This year, I got my dad some sandals and a couple polo shirts and we will get FIL a couple golf shirts.
I get sort of a pass this year on their bdays because I'll be giving birth in the middle of them: dad is the 23rd, baby the 24th, and FIL the 25th. I will probably just write happy bday and fathers day on their gifts.
I don't know if I'll do anything for dh - maybe we'll just go out to dinner.

My Dad wants a Walmart giftcard. It's the only thing he has wanted for the past 2 years. He ws saving up for a big TV and got it for Christmas. Now he wants a bigger TV, so he needs more giftcards. Whatev. It's his day, so whatever he wants. I'll also take him out to breakfast with the kids. I might do the "DAD" pictures with the kids and instead spell out Poppop and make a collage.
As for DH.....he's on my list this week. I'll probably have the kids make cards, and take him to breakfast with my dad. Other than that, I'll let him sleep-in and relax.
For my dad, we are taking him to a Riversharks game next Friday (every year we take him to a baseball game and its definitely way cheaper to go to a minor league game). I'll probably get him a wawa gift card too since he stops there every morening for coffee. For my FIL, my DH apparently just got him the equipment to convert their old VHS tapes to digital files (can't wait until we get stuck actually doing all the converting since my IL's aren't very tech savy).
For my DH, I got him a diaper bag. I got him a nice manly looking one so this way when we register I can pick out whatever one I want and he won't complain about having to carry around something girly if he is by himself with the baby.
