Workshop wednesday
I havent had time to do much, though we did plant our vegetable garden last Friday!! We've got tomatos, squash, radishes, garlic and cucumbers. I can't wait for it to produce yummy FREE food! No pics, though...its been rainy here since the first day and i didnt take a pic then!

Re: Workshop wednesday
We're moving on Saturday and haven't packed a thing yet!! We've moved a bunch of boxes from the basement and the storage unit in already - today the rest of the storage unit is being moved. So, my project this week will be packing and then unpacking!
I also need to find some time to work on menu cards and programs for one of the girls I did invitations for.
Oh Boy there is too much to be done. I am watching my parents dog this week. That means that there are 3 routie and large puppies terrorizing my house. So although I worked so hard to clean up my house last week it was pretty much worthless.
This week I really need to start cleaning out the junk room to turn it into the nursery. There is a lot of work that needs to be done in there. The walls have cork tile from the 70s on the wall and mustard yellow carpeting. YUCK! All of that needs to be ripped out.
Honestly I would be thrilled if I could get to Saturday and have laundry sorted and almost done and dishes done. That would be a successful week for me.
I finished painting my little project. It took way more time than I thought, but once I switched to spray paint it was a breeze! I painted the whole thing white, used a semi-gloss poly coat, and painted the inside of the drawers apple green:
I'll post pictures next week sometime. After I pack for the weekend (cousin's wedding), and get clothes for the next week or so sorted out (so I can tape off my closet) I am starting bedroom prep for painting (b/c I have to... I procrastinated for way too long!!)
Hopefully by next week our bedroom will be painted this color and trim will be white, to match this bedding:

And my husband talked me out of painting it before next weekend. We will be gone this weekend and we are having a barbecue next weekend... so he nicely suggested to wait a week or two before I begin
And the nightstand was too wide for the bathroom.... so it's going to become my printer stand
