How often do you 'weigh in' on MFP?
Re: Tigers
I weigh in every day on the same scale in the morning. I know you aren't supposed to but I am a numbers girl. I love looking at the graph and seeing the trend. After doing this since late April, I see what makes it rise (AF of course and my Sunday cheat day) and how it falls by the end of the week. On average though, the highs and lows of each week are going down so I know I am making progress. Plus, my pants aren't pinching my belly right now. That alone makes this worth all of the hard work! Right now it says 8 lbs but I have seen as low as 10 lbs at times. So, that is why I say I am "approaching" 10 lbs. And don't call me out this week because my AF is set to start on Monday which means I will be holding onto a ton of water until it is done.
I hope that is the case for me since I am on AF right now. I would love to see that number drop even more later this week.
Thanks for the tip, I'm already obsessed with my new tool!
Oh yes! The same thing happened for me. I just downloaded it one day and it forced me to put my weight in, etc. to see how it worked and then I said, I will try it for a day and I was hooked right away. I just love how easy they make it to track calories and that users can add new foods, their own foods, and you can confirm if an existing food is correct for the calories/nutrition so others know it is reliable.
