Hotels near Cruise Piers - Redondo Beach?
Heya ladies - Nestie from way over in Pittsburgh, PA looking for a little clarification...
My entire family is leaving on a Mexican cruise out of LA. We'll be coming into town Friday afternoon/evening and need a hotel close to the ship's port. Any recommendations? I've even been to cities where certain hotels will shuttle you to the pier. I'd like to be economical but don't know the area - any advice is greatly appreciated!
Re: Hotels near Cruise Piers - Redondo Beach?
Hi Heather! What port are your cruising from? I've gone on a couple of cruises, but we left from Long Beach/San Pedro; which is south of Redondo Beach.
Near Redondo try: Manhattan Beach and Torrance.
Near Long Beach / San Pedro try: Seal Beach and Wilmington
Prices will vary!!! How long will you be staying? Have you considered renting a condo instead of doing a hotel?
HTH! GL! Have fun!
Either of these hotels or anyone in that area. They are very close to the port and it's a nice area. Also, I'm pretty sure they will have shuttles. (Sorry for the long links. In a hurry.)

I live in El Segundo - right near LAX. There is a hotel called the Hacienda Hotel that runs shuttles, very reasonable and clean. DH and I just got back from a 7-day cruise to the Mexican Riviera - it's only about a 30 min drive from El Segundo to San Pedro/Long Beach.
Have fun!
