A New Nestie in Evansville area and 'trying'
My husband and I just got married 2 weeks ago. We've decided to stop using protection because we both feel we are emotionally and financially ready for a baby. However, we don't feel it's necessary to start actually 'trying' for a baby right away! Even so, I'm already starting myself on prenatal vitamins, and changing my eating habits to include more nutrition. I'm very excited about someday getting pregnant! Also, I know it's early, but I've decided that when the time does come, I want to give birth completely drug free, even though I'm a little terrified. I think its the right thing to do for me.
I don't understand the question, and I won't respond to it.
Re: A New Nestie in Evansville area and 'trying'
My husband and I took classes in Natural Family Planning, which is also known as NFP. This was a great help in learning more about my body and when I'm more likely to conceive. I think it's great that you are wanting to give birth completely drug free. If you are interested in drug free birth control, I would highly recommend taking an NFP class to learn more about how knowing your cycles can help you know more about when you are most fertile and when you are not fertile.
I do not miss being on the Pill at all! Best of all, my husband understands my cycle, too. We have a level of closeness that is better than I've had when I used to be on the Pill. Now we actually communicate every month about our decision to try for a baby or not. He and I also learned that I tend to feel naturally more amorous when I am more fertile and that I'm not having a change of heart when I'm not fertile. It's just a part of the cycle. It's interesting how the body works!
