Nestie GTG's???
I was just reading some of our posts today, and thinking how truly wonderful our virtual sisterhood is. It made me wonder...would anyone be up for maybe doing some "regional" get togethers?
Not sure when, or what they would look like, but off the top I was thinking that since most of live in the same region with someone (if not the same state), then perhaps we could reach out and find out who lives closest to who, pick a central spot, and maybe do a day trip get together...maybe a movie, lunch, visit to local point of interest...? I dunno. I just know that it would be really great to meet some of you girls in person :-)
Any thoughts??

This makes me INSANELY JEALOUS. I think the closest people to me are Paula and Rebecca, but N. Florida is still verrrry far.
NYC is my favorite city!! I'd be willing to travel further south, also...I'm so happy you girls agree :-) I feel like I know you already, but how nice to "party in person!"

Of course! Brunch downtown is always a good place to start maybe a walk on the highline cool new "park". basically its a park on an old raised train track that they turned into greenspace. Its pretty neat! Then maybe "shopping" in the village. Really shopping for me = window shopping lol. Or we could head north and chill in central park and walk around there for the day clearly ice cream would be required then. Either way I'm happy to set something up
May as well make my daily commute into NYC useful haha.
That sounds great, and would be pretty easy for lots of us to get to!

I would most definitely take the train up - that'd be about a 3 and a half hr trip for me, maybe less if I grab the Acela!! Ladies, it is looking more and more like we have a NYC GTG on the horizon!!
I would definitely be up for a NYC get-together, seeing as how I live about 2 seconds outside the city!
We have a spare bedroom plus a sofabed in our living room if any of you girls from OOT want to stay over. We can have a slumber party

The train looks quite reasonable and I'm pretty sure it stops in Philly! NY girls would it be feasible for us to come into Penn Station? I've never been to NYC so I'm not sure where Penn Station is in relation to the places you were talking about.
