Asking for Good Vibes/Prayer Update

So I don't know if any of you remember, but my sister was in a car accident 9 years ago now and is still facing some complications from the accident. She's had close to 10 surgeries now and is having another one today. Her last one was in November.

Basically, she was a passenger in car when another car turned in front of them and air bag sent the tablet computer (she was typing in data for work) in to her face. She has very little visible damage but she was had to have her cheekbone replaced and bone grafted from her hip into her jaw so that they could do teeth implants.

Essentially, the bone graft is failing and loosing density which is causing infections behind the implants and severe pain. Today, they are taking out the implants, so basically this is the first step in a much longer process to determine the next course of action. Either they will try to put artificial bone in or potentially she will have to have another bone graft from her hip, before they can put more implants in.

Meanwhile, she has been suffering constant pain all the while raising my soon-to-be six year old nephew and my adorable 3 year old niece. I guess basically, I'm asking for prayers that she has a safe surgery today and that the doctors figure out a solution that would minimize the pain she is in and the amount of surgeries she will have to have in the future.

**Update**

My sister texted me that she is out of surgery and she had 2 of the implants removed. She has a tube in her nose but is home and is supposed to rest up and try to heal and has a follow up appointment on Friday. The bad news is that the situation is more severe than the doctors expected/hoped for. That's all I really know right now and all we are probably going to know until after her appt Friday.
