anyone from Destrahan, Hahnville area?
DH has to work down there next week on a turnaround, and since its over 3 hours from where we live, they are providing a hotel for him to stay at. We will be coming to stay with him for at least couple nights, I would love to know if there is anything kid friendly that we could do during the day while he is a work. I am already planning a zoo trip early one morning.. TIA!

I'm from Destrehan. If you'd be willing to drive to NOLA, which I'm guessing you are since you're going to Audubon, there's an excellent Children's Museum in the CBD as well.
Destrehan's attractions are really just plantations...that would be pretty boring for a kiddo.
