I don't think we've had one of these posts in a while so I'll start:
Last night: taco turkey burgers and corn on the cob
Tonight: I'm attempting to make a whole chicken in the crock pot. Sounds strange but the directions are way easier than the whole roasted chicken recipe I usually us so I'm giving it a shot.
Tomorrow: beef with beer and onions
that's all I got so far
Re: What's for dinner
Monday: homemade hoagies
Tuesday: roasted chicken legs in italian dressing, roasted taters with herbs from the garden, and green beans
Tonight: out to dinner with my parents
Thurs: flat-iron steak with sauteed asparagus, mushrooms and onions
Friday - probably pizza
this is my first week back into the swing of things and i actually had a meal plan

Kel, I'm impressed that you are back in the swing of cooking so quickly!
Monday was Dill Chicken and Potatoes.
Tuesday I made Mexican pita pizzas.
Wednesday was actually a pleasant surprise- I tried a recipe on the back of the Chipotle Ranch Suddenly Salad and it was DELICIOUS.
Tonight is tacos.
DH is going to the Soul game tomorrow night, so I'll just have some leftovers from the week. I also have another pound of ground beef I have to make something with before it goes bad (it was a huge pack that I defrosted so I can't refreeze) so I'll make something that I can just heat up another night.
How'd the crock pot chicken turn out?
The meat itself was good and very tender. I used the spice mix in the recipe instead of using the same spices I usually use and that was a mistake. The recipe called for 4 tsp of salt which I thought was ridiculous. I cut it to a tsp and a half and it was still super salty. I might try it again with my regular spices.
