SJ, LG, WG, Saratoga, Campbell Ladies: eyebrow wax rec's?

My cousin used to shape my brows, and I would clean them up every so often. Unfortunately, we've both been busy, and my brows have become insane. I need to find a place that will shape them so I can do the upkeep. And, I don't like them too thin because that makes my already round face look like a giant moon. And I just can't rock the chola-sharpie look.

I'm also thinking of getting a chin/lip wax as well. Any recommendations in the San Jose, Los Gatos, Campbell, WIllow Glen, Saratoga areas are all welcome. I don't think I'd be able to travel farther than that. Thanks so much!

  • Eurpoean Wax Center in the Coleman Shopping Center

Your first eyebrow wax is free!

They are affordable and since my brows grow back almost every 2-3 weeks, I got a package (which they will try to sell you but you can say no)

  • My friend from high school owns JEM Skincare on Big Basin Way in Saratoga. They do the best eyebrow job I have ever had. http://www.yelp.com/biz/jem-skincare-saratoga-2. They send emails for 20% off all the time.
  • Have you ever tried threading? It lasts longer than waxing, imo. I live in Fremont where threading is everywhere, but when I'm down in the South Bay, I go to Hollywood Brows at Valley Fair (across from Sephora). They do a really good job, but I can't say that threading is painless.

Do not go to the Benefit BrowBar at Macy's. They don't know how to shape brows and they try to sell you on tons of Benefit products and make you feel ugly if you don't buy them.

This is true. They try to sell me stuff to make me look like a 20 yr old. Um no thanks. Plus they are wickedly expensive.

I was going to say JEM skincare too.  I am friends with the owner (she's one of my BFF's SIL) and she does amazing work.

  • Thanks Ladies! I hope to check some of these out and be less Sasquatchy this weekend! Big Smile
