Get the furminator! Seriously, I didn't think it would be worth the money but I got it in the mail today and holy crow... the amount of hair I got off my cat was insane. I still haven't been able to get his whole body because it's a battle to get him to stay for me... but I'm pretty sure I could make a sweater out of it.

It worked great on the dog too!

I need this for Bella! Maybe it would work on Milo too...this fur is so short that it is hard to collect it with a brush.

I was covered from head to toe in fur afterwards. DH took the vacuum to me. I definitely recommend it!

We have a furminator comb for Ty, and you can really tell that it is removing the undercoat (light and fluffy) as opposed to just the outer coat like most brushes. I just wish we'd remember to use it more often!

Yeah, we have the off brand version. It works fantastic on Merlin, he usually tries to bolt when he sees it come out though.

I am not a sales minded individual, but I actually told DH if I could get a job working for the company that makes these, I would sell the $hit out of them.

With a dog that sheds enough fur to make another dog twice his size every spring and fall, the furminator has been about the best thing to ever happen to me.

I'm seriously disgusted at the thought of how much dog hair we were living in before we got it.

Very interesting.  My little Sammy sheds like freaking crazy!  How does a little 8lb doggy shed so much?!  We definitely need one of those.
