Ugh, I don't think I've had more than 5 hours sleep in the past 3 nights! I'm so ready for this school trip to be over! We had a kid dump water on another patron at the Hard Rock Cafe last night, another one broke a window in our hotel (read: dorm rooms) by accidentally causing a pool ball to ricochet off the table and have discovered that another kid has a serious, serious over-eating disorder. Fun times! One more night to go, and then we're back tomorrow.
Re: Good Morning!
Good morning! Kaesha, the trip sounds rough. Here's hoping the last day goes by quickly for you.
Not much going on over here. I'm sitting as an editor/writer for an event today, so I'm stuck in a room with nine other people all day. It's not terrible, but since I don't really do anything until they pull together their own pieces (I basically proof and rewrite sections when needed), it's a slow day.
Last night was stressful, what with H and I discussing all my options and trying to break it all down into different components, but I came to a strategy. We'll see how it goes.
Hope everyone has a great day.
Kaesha - that sounds rough. Hope your last day goes smoothly and you can finally get some sleep
Chica - I'm glad you came up with a plan. And I hope that it goes the way you want.
Nothing overly exciting for me today. I was having a rough day yesterday, but felt better after having a long overdue call with my BFF back home. Could possibly be going out to dinner tonight, but not too excited about it so I may bail.
Cecilia arrived 12 October 2012
Morning all! Oh the joys of the school trip kaesha. One of my other TK/TN friends is there with one of her classes now too.
Baseball mostly sucked last night, we kept making dumb fielding moves and allowed waaaaay too many runs in. Both games we were up by a good margin going into the last inning and both games ended up tied. Booourns. I wasn't too bad, had a few hits, made a catch for an out in the field, and didn't make an ass of myself, so I guess it was ok.
Tonight I hope to lay around doing nothing, but I have a feeling that's not going to happen. Derek will probably want to head to Home Depot and get a new door and some drywall. I do, however, feel the need to grill up/cook a super wicked dinner tonight.
We'll just not tell H about this little fact, m'kay?
Raynes- That sonds like loads of fun.
Chica-I am so glad you came up with a game plan and I hope it works.
Last night was good. Me and Jordan watched cartoons and played after preston went to bed. He is such a great kid he helped me clean up and we got the kitchen cleaned, swept, and mopped. We got his room clean and all of the clothes put up. Preston was really happy this morning and woke up on his own 20 minutes before he has to get up so I got some extra play time with him.
Then I came to work and it all went to hell in a hand basket. This rude guy at work made me MAD early this morning. He has been rude to me multiple times. He has also been rude to the other two people in my office. He made us all so mad this morning we said something to him. We told him we were tired of him being rude to us and if he had a problem with us we needed to handle it because there is no sense in us working together like this. Hopefully he realizes he can't just walk all over us.
Good morning!
I feel like I repeat myself between here and FB a lot but anyway, yesterday was V's convocation! I decided to join the academic procession after all and I'm so glad I did because it turned out that he wasn't able to get me the extra ticket. (Every grad is guaranteed 2 tickets but extras are first-come-first-served.) Plus I got to give him a hug on stage when he came up. We are all very proud...I have never seen him stand up so straight!
BIL's convocation was in the morning so I actually got to spend almost the entire day with the ILs.... I'm a little irked that MIL insisted on taking V's diploma home with her (what's she going to do with it anyway? Show it off to her friends?) but V promised that we'll retrieve it next time we go over.
Today... work, making up for writing off yesterday lol.

First of all, you guys looked cute! And second, definitely get it back. I just had to send in a photocopy of my M.A. (from UT, actually!) and H has had to photocopy his diploma for postdoctoral/assistant professor positions. They wouldn't even take transcripts as proof. If your MIL really wants one, you can ask if they'll sell you a souvenir replica; they didn't allow it for me but I graduated in 2003, things might've changed since then.
Morning ladies.
Keasha - hoping today goes by quickly and the trip ends on a good note.
Chica - glad you have a plan, and hope things work out.
I got into work late since I didn't have anyone to watch the boys for a couple of hours. Last night after the boys were in bed, I went over to my BFF's (my mom was at the house with boys) for a little while. As much as I love my little guys, it was nice to do something in my old routine of just going over to hang with him for a little while.
Otherwise, watched the Bruins win the cup, and today is work work work.
Have a great one ladies.
We'll just not tell H about this little fact, m'kay?
Chica - Good luck with everything job-related.
Ringy - Maybe your MIL wanted to frame the diploma for V? Although I know she's a little nuts, so maybe she just thinks she's entitled to time with it, haha. I'd be annoyed too.
H did SO well at his first Bikram class last night; I was so impressed! I had to sit down so many times during my first class...err, classes...to keep from passing out, but he did the whole thing! I couldn't believe it when he showed up to the studio in a long-sleeved shirt though. Most people don't even wear shirts at all, nevermind long-sleeved! Ah well, he survived!
Not sure what we'll do tonight, but hopefully just spend some QT together b/c we won't be able to see each other for most of next week since H has multiple business trips. MIL wants to go shopping together for patio furniture for their newly-built deck, so we'll see.
I'm tired today. I'm hoping it was just a fluke that I tossed and turned all night and not something that will regularly happen. Thankfully the dog slept well so I didn't have her waking me up in between when I was actually up on my own. Poor DH I don't think got much sleep either.
Tonight will be nap time, for sure, and hopefully another rain storm. That was super fun to watch yesterday after work. I love some good thunder and lightning.
Good morning! Yesterday's baseball game was fun but it was hotter than hell. My chest and my nose are fried! Ugh.
Today I have a ton of emails and voice mails to catch up on from the office being closed yesterday. I'm going to a chamber sponsored luncheon this afternoon for young professionals, it's probably going to be boring but we get free pizza.
Tonight I hope to get a workout in and get my house cleaned up.
It's already framed actually - we got it framed on site!
Ah well. It was kind of heavy and we didn't feel much like lugging it home on the subway anyway

Good morning,
Yesterday was hectic. I felt like I was running all over. It ended well though.
Tonight I'm going to try and get a run in before DH comes home and then go for a leisurely walk with him. He needs to get outside and do more active things. The stress of the job he is working on right now is taking a toll.
More power to you, kaesha. I don't know how you are still the least bit sane.
Chica - good luck and I hope it all works out the way you'd like.
Today is fairly horrible. I got a BFN this morning and that was our last chance as far as insurance goes. I couldn't stop crying this morning and I got to work an hour and a half late. I spent 20 minutes walking around my office neighborhood, ostensibly looking for breakfast, but nothing sounded good. I'm sitting in my office, with the door closed and the lights off and I hope I don't have to talk to or see anyone today. I just want to go back home and wallow. I don't know what we are going to do next. And...now I'm crying again. FML.

Good Morning!
Last night we went to the grocery store and I cleaned up the kitchen. Exciting stuff.
Tonight, I am not sure what is on the agenda. I may do a little shopping after work before I head home.
I am trying to decide where to go for my birthday dinner. I am being selfish and want to have dinner with just DH for my birthday this year. Last weekend was supposed to be a birthday party for BIL and I but I ended up doing the cooking, cleaning and baby-sitting so I am ready for a low key celebration.
Have a great Thursday ladies.
We'll just not tell H about this little fact, m'kay?
Thanks, but it's pretty definite by 13 dpo. My temp is still up because of the added progesterone.
