I know this has been posted before, but I didn't pay much attention. Sorry. Where is the nearest u-pick strawberry patch? I think Neena and I are going to go today.

My poor strawberries look like crap after all of this silly rain.

howell's tree farm has U-Pick -- it's the Cumming/Norwalk exit (about 10 miles south of DSM).  plus, they have fun stuff for neena for free (tire swing, goats, etc!).

I'm not sure about the nearest but Berry Patch in Nevada just posted that you can pick strawberries now.... Not sure if you want to make the drive and it looks like they are only open until 12pm?!.

I'm curious to know what you and Mrs Reem find.... I called around and it seems like some of the places don't have strawberry beds this year (or won't have berries to pick bc of the weather) so i recommend calling first.    Nevada might be your best bet...

We went to Nevada on Monday and the berries are delicious!  We picked 5lbs for $9.
