Lunch! Fantasy and reality.

What do wish you were eating for lunch today? In reality, what are you actually having for lunch today?

  • Wish: Lobster and a tall draft Blue Moon

  • There's a place out by our old condo that makes a bagel burger; a burger with cheddar cheese, cream cheese, bacon, a delicious burger all on a bagel. I've been fantasizing about eating this burger all day out fo nowhere. They also have amazing fresh cut fries and cold beer...mmmm.

    I'm actually having some broccoli/cauliflower salad, some rasberries and strawberries and a bag of veggie straws. Not all together unappetizing, just not as delicious as a bagel burger.

  • Fantasy: Panera salad with a cup of broccoli cheddar (thanks to MB for putting panera thoughts into my head).. Reality: left over slice of pizza from two days ago.
  • Fantasy: Homemade cheeseburger with a slice of grilled pineapple, sweet potato fries, and then a Georgia Mud Fudge blizzard

    Reality: Spinach and mushroom quesadilla and maybe a peach or some cantaloupe for dessert

  • Wish:  McDonald's

  • reality: a turkey sandwich with provolone, lettuce and tomato on WW bread.  And some grapes.

    Wish: I don't know, I'm so not hungry right now, not really having any cravings.  Although the chicken parm burger I had for dinner last night was pretty awesome, wouldn't mind eating that again.

  • Fantasy: Vodka Penne from The Engleside restaurant in LBI NJ. It's the best!!!!

    Reality: Chicken salad sandwich with romaine on whole wheat bread and some baked bbq Lay's.

  • Fantasy: A black & bleu burger and fries from Backyard Burger.

    Reality: A salad. Sigh.

  • I wanted to eat a yogurt parfait but my work cafeteria was out of them.

    So now I'm eating my usual salad.  I wanted something different today.

  • Today my lunch fantasy is a reality! We started having lunch at my MIL/Matt's Nana's house with the theme of what size the baby is each week. So this week is sweet potato! We're having pork chops, amazingly grilled sweet potatoes and broccoli. Dessert is fresh strawberry shortcake with frozen yogurt. Yummm.
  • Reality: Slim-fast shake with a plain yogurt and a few raspberries. And diet coke.

    Fantasy: Rach's lunch! I would kill for a chicken salad sandwich and chips of any kind! I'll also take khart's leftover pizza, and a few of the burgers.

    This is the first day since I started SFing that I've been really ravenous during the day. Annoying.

  • Fantasy: anything fattening and super tasty. Maybe a roast beef from Arby's?

    Reality: a pretty tasty home made turkey sandwich on wheat with spicy mustard, tomatoes and mixed greens. Stupid diet!
