Is there any hope?
We now have mandatory water rationing with fines for violations. I can water the garden 2 days a week from 8pm until 5am, buy hose or watering can only. No sprinklers. The only things still doing well in the garden are zucchini, peas, and carrots. I think it got too hot for everything else.
I hate to just let everything die, but I don't know if it's even worth it to continue watering if everything will die anyway.

can you do a rain barrel? (not sure where you live, that might be laughable, since you're rationing I'm guessing not a lot of rainfall)
Otherwise there is always zai holes . . . but not sure if you can put them in after the fact.
