Dear everyone in my life who uses email,
Please bookmark, and check, snopes.com and/or Google before you forward me any more hysterical chain emails about fake credit card scams or warnings about gang members trying to kill me on the side of the road, or whatever the scam of the week is. I know some of you are new to this whole internet thing, but you need to start taking a deep breath and checking stuff out before automatically forwarding on this crap to everyone you know.
