IgnoranceI at its best.

Have you seen this youtube video w/ what people in small town Ohio think of Obama. It's really sad. I am still undecided and usually don't post about political stuff. It just pains me to think that people still think this way in the world.

Re: IgnoranceI at its best.

  • Apparently ignorance is still a widespread disease in the fly-over states.  So so sad.
  • OMG, that's horrifying!!

  • That is sad that people still think that way.  I think it is also very embarassing for McCain and Palin to have their supporters portrayed in that kind of light.  (Obviously not all of their supporters feel that way.)  But nonetheless.... its embarassing for their campaign.
  • not surprised....not at all. Just like the loon in our department that refers to homosexuals as, "disgusting fag__ts"! And this person thinks they should all be killed for spreading AIDS because that's how the disease came about. I used to admire this person and after hearing "this person" spew their politics, I'm running for zee hills.

  • This saddens me so much. Unreal!
  • What's even more alarming is that even after the exchange during the debate about blatant hate speech that has been expressed at rallies ("I'm not going to stand for people saying that the people that come to my rallies are anything but the most dedicated, patriotic men and women that are in this nation and they're great citizens... So the point is -- the point is that I have repudiated every time someone's been out of line, whether they've been part of my campaign or not, and I will continue to do that."), McCain basically ignored someone TODAY who yelled "Kill Obama!" ?(This was seen by someone on the Election 2008 Board who was watching a rally on MSNBC.
  • Whoa, that really scared me!  It wanted to laugh when the lady said...."he thinks we're white trash".  Ummmmm, not white trash, but trash does come to mind.
  • So disgusting :o( Makes me sad that there really are people out there that think that way...

*off to live in my happy bubble*?

  • I couldn't even get past 30 seconds of it. These people probably never met a person whose skin didn't look pale like theirs and have been surrounded by ignorance. Why they think Obama is a terrorist or why the Republican party wants Americans to think he's a terrorist is beyond me. Did that guy just call him a negro? Since when did this country become a Christian nation? I thought we had freedom to exercise religion of choosing. Omg, I knew ignorant people existed, but wow.
