2. What are you looking forward to most this weekend, not father's day related? Cory Morrow tonight at Billy Bobs with DH and some friends.
3. What is one food item you crave that makes it very hard to lose weight/stay in shape? Anything salty. Pizza, chicken nuggets, etc. Sometimes ice cream but I can usually eat that in moderation.
4. Pick a TV show, and tell me a character that you think represents you the best. I'm probably a mix of Charlotte from SATC, and Izzy and Meredith from Grey's Anatomy.
5. Do you have any goals set that you would like to accomplish before the end of the year? To just stay within our monthly budget, and accomplish that at least one month! We have yet to reach our goal. We need to really buckle down.1. Since it's father's day weekend, what is your best/favorite memory with your dad? Several years ago, when I was living in another state for a job, I was going through some pretty tough stuff. My dad and mom drove to come see me for the weekend -- and they lived in an entirely different state, so it was a long drive. I found out that it was my dad's idea -- he couldn't stand that I was so down, and he just wanted to try to cheer me up.
2. What are you looking forward to most this weekend, not father's day related? Getting a few more days of my workout video in. I'm ready to start seeing results -- not weight loss necessarily (yet), but my endurance building up.
3. What is one food item you crave that makes it very hard to lose weight/stay in shape? Chickfila's chicken salad sandwich. I have to have it at least once a week.
4. Pick a TV show, and tell me a character that you think represents you the best. Pam from The Office.
5. Do you have any goals set that you would like to accomplish before the end of the year? Well, I'm trying to commit to 30 days straight of physical activity, so there's that. I also have a financial goal of putting a certain amount of money in our savings account -- last year we didn't put away much because we were saving specifically for the wedding. I'm excited to save for the long term again.I wouldn't think that was too unhealthy for you!
1. Since it's father's day weekend, what is your best/favorite memory with your dad? I love going out on the boat in the summer, helping him work out in the garage, our trip to California to visit my grandma. There's lots.
2. What are you looking forward to most this weekend, not father's day related? My Birthday and the new bedroom furniture!
3. What is one food item you crave that makes it very hard to lose weight/stay in shape? I wouldn't say it makes it hard to lose weight as I'm not out of control or anything, but I love me some cake/cupcakes.
4. Pick a TV show, and tell me a character that you think represents you the best. I have no idea. I like to think I am pretty unique.
5. Do you have any goals set that you would like to accomplish before the end of the year? Yes. Building savings and giving goals and remodeling the kitchen.Really? I'm scared to look up the nutrition facts on chicken salad! It's, like, my favorite food and, to be honest, I usually have it several times a week. I assumed because it's "creamy" it must have mayo and therefore be fattening. But I don't want to know for sure.
2. What are you looking forward to most this weekend, not father's day related? hanging out with friends tonight
3. What is one food item you crave that makes it very hard to lose weight/stay in shape? french fries for sure... I love them, totally my main weakness. If I can get fries anytime we eat out, I do. It's bad.
4. Pick a TV show, and tell me a character that you think represents you the best. Oh boy, I have no idea. Let me think.
5. Do you have any goals set that you would like to accomplish before the end of the year? Start working out and continue on a regular basis, pay off 3 credit cards and buy a new used car!!1. Since it's father's day weekend, what is your best/favorite memory with your dad? My dad played electric guitar and when I was little and didn't want to take a bath he would tell me he would do a concert if I would. So I would get in the bath and he would plug his apm/guitar in in the hall and play songs for me while my mom washed my hair. ...And now I am crying...man I miss him.
2. What are you looking forward to most this weekend, not father's day related? Cory Morrow tonight/Chef Point and bowling with my mom and her boyfriend tomorrow night.
3. What is one food item you crave that makes it very hard to lose weight/stay shape? Egg and Cheese McGriddles, Alfredo sauce, Dr. Pepper - that's more than one - it's a constant battle for me.
4. Pick a TV show, and tell me a character that you think represents you the best. Sandy from Spongebob. I don't know why, I couldn't think of anything else. :P
5. Do you have any goals set that you would like to accomplish before the end of the year? Get pregnant? If not that, lose at least 75 pounds.
Is there mayonnaise in it? If so, that is what would make it unhealthy.
Well, I guess when you look at it that way. Hahaha.
In comparison to a big ol fried hunk of chicken and french fries it's probably healthier, though!
I really hate to say this, but my DH was a manager at CFA for a while. He said the chicken salad sandwich is one of the most unhealthy food item on the menu.
1. Since it's father's day weekend, what is your best/favorite memory with your dad? The time that my dad and I went to the dump (in Carson City, you could take your own trash. In fact, I think you had to). Anyways, he had put in some ashes from our BBQ grill two nights before--he thought they were cool enough, but it turns out they weren't. We ended up having some smoke (never on fire) in the back of the truck. He took both our sodas (soda before noon was usually a big no-no) and put out the smoke. I was never in danger but we had a laugh about it and to this day it's one of my favorite Daddy and Julie adventures.
2. What are you looking forward to most this weekend, not father's day related? We're going to see Spamalot tomorrow at Fair Park.
3. What is one food item you crave that makes it very hard to lose weight/stay in shape? Pizza hands down. I honestly think I could eat pizza every meal of every day.
4. Pick a TV show, and tell me a character that you think represents you the best. Is there a character who tries very hard but it never seems to work out quite right? Because that's me.
5. Do you have any goals set that you would like to accomplish before the end of the year? Hmmm, I am really wanting to get on a regular workout schedule. This was my goal for the summer but being sick most of last week and part of this week means I had to put that on hold. I want to start Monday.Yeah yeah, Renee, coming in here with all your rationale. Psh.
2. What are you looking forward to most this weekend, not father's day related? Since we are celebrating on Saturday, a free/no plan Sunday!
3. What is one food item you crave that makes it very hard to lose weight/stay in shape? I am a junk food junkie! Not a coffee drinker, but my new kryptonite is a Starbucks Mocha Coconut frap.
4. Pick a TV show, and tell me a character that you think represents you the best. My favorite shows are reality and I don't really want to identify with any of them!!!
5. Do you have any goals set that you would like to accomplish before the end of the year? Okay, I will put this out there. This is weird, but get pregnant before December.Sorry Marie! I was trying to have your back.
A few things:
1. Sorry I made you cry.
2. I am sending you a FB message!
3. The spongebob thing made me LOL.
Yup - I just looked and actual CFA Chicken sandwich is better on everything than chicken salad except carbs pretty much.
I was also shocked when I found out that Subway's tuna is one of the worst things on their menu. I don't eat tuna... I was just surprised.
This is me too... I love reality. Bachelor/ette, SYTYCD, American Idol, WR anything, etc.
I love this! These kind of stories are priceless.
I like reality TV too. I will admit it. Although I still follow some shows like Grey's, and I'm just starting to go back and watch Private Practice from the beginning via netflix. And I started watching a new sitcom that is flipping HIL-arious called Happy Endings.
Oh, and Dexter and NCIS.
1. It's okay, it's the third time today. The first time at Kidd Kraddick announcing JC is going to have a baby, the second time at just thinking about my dad driving in. It's been a weepy day for me.
2. I responded!
3. That was seriously the first thing that popped in my head when I thought about the question.
Bio Good Times
JC and Kinsey are having a baby!?
I haven't listened to that show in years, but I used to be an avid listener! OMG...nuts. Last time I was listening, they had just gotten engaged!
5. Do you have any goals set that you would like to accomplish before the end of the year?
Get back to running regularly, and loose some weight.

1. Since it's father's day weekend, what is your best/favorite memory with your dad? My dad was rarely around growing up and we just recently became close. So, my favorite memory is on my wedding day. I was very nervous to walk down the aisle with everyone staring at me and my dad was fanning me telling me everything was going to be okay. It was really sweet.
2. What are you looking forward to most this weekend, not father's day related? Well, I have b-pics tomorrow. Aaack!
3. What is one food item you crave that makes it very hard to lose weight/stay in shape? Only one? Cupcakes, sno cones, little debbie snacks, pizza, beer...
4. Pick a TV show, and tell me a character that you think represents you the best. She doesn't totally represent me, but I am a huge perfectionist like Monica is on Friends.
5. Do you have any goals set that you would like to accomplish before the end of the year? I would like to be in better shape. I told DH last night that I wanted to run a 5k, but I don't know if I can make that happen by the end of the year. I also have an ideal number in my head as to what our emergency fund should be... I would like to be at that ideal number.1. Since it's father's day weekend, what is your best/favorite memory with your dad? Best memories of my dad are from when I was younger (before he remarried) and we were on the boat. He would always show me how to drive the boat, load it on a trailer, and all the ends and outs needed to own a boat. It was our time togeter. My little sister would be there but he never showed her all the little things. (tearing up now thanks!)
(I was gonna write about my step dad but it made me cry too much and now I can't type it) Sunday is going to be hard!
2. What are you looking forward to most this weekend, not father's day related? Cory Morrow tonight (like a few of you ladies)
3. What is one food item you crave that makes it very hard to lose weight/stay in shape? Ice cream and chocolate
4. Pick a TV show, and tell me a character that you think represents you the best. UMMM I'll have to come back to this one!
5. Do you have any goals set that you would like to accomplish before the end of the year? Getting pregnant is the only goal I have left that I made this year. We have paid all debt, got a new car, got the house finished.Bio Good Times
Yes! They announced today she is 3.5 months along and is due late Dec./early Jan. They don't know the sex yet but JC wants a boy and they have nicknamed the baby T-Rex. JC wants to name the baby Cannon and Kinsey likes Lola.
They weren't preventing but weren't trying either so it was sort of a surprise. She told him by putting notes on their dogs and notes on the fridge that said first comes love with a pic of her and him, next comes Dex and Deliliah, with a pic of their dogs, then comes marriage with a pic of their wedding day. (which is the part that had me boo-hoo-ing)
He said he freaked out like, OMG I got a girl pregnant how am I going to tell my parents?!? Haha!
/Kidd Kraddick in-depth recap over
You can totally do that! You should run the Turkey Trot with us in Dallas! That's a perfect first 5k, because you have to stop and walk several times because of the crowds. That was my first 5k.
Lacey - I used C25k and seriously went from unable to run 60 seconds without getting winded to running 40 minutes plus without stopping and I have only been running for 3 months. You can totally do it!
