i offered a coupon on freecycle yesterday - $10 of $50 for sherwin williams paint. i guess you can't offer coupons and now i'm on moderator status. LAME. a simple reminder would have sufficed. dumb ass moderator.

Why can't you offer coupons??  Didn't someone on here once say that they found ketchup packets on freecycle?  how can they accept that and not coupons!?!

How strange.  But you can ask for coupons on there because they do on my local freecycle almost daily so I don't see why you can't give them away.  I definitely think you have a lame moderator.

i have no idea - maybe so businesses don't flood it with coupons? i'm not sure if the same is true of asking for coupons. i'm fine with no coupons. i figure they have their reasons so i can follow the rules. but jeez, it's not like i'm some habitual rule breaker. why moderate me? oh and the message said "indefinitely." kinda sucked because i'm still working on project clean out my basement so i'm offering up a lot of stuff. it's a drag to have to wait until the end of the day to see my posts and to start getting responses. also my takens don't show up until way late either so i have to answer all of the people who are still wanting my item since there's a delay. sucks.
