Doggy Parks / Play Dates.

Hi ladies !

I'm going to be a mom......we are getting a furbaby !!  He is being flown in on Monday night. SO and I have been wanting a dog for soooo long and we are now just days away, very excited !!!.

Does anyone know if there are any dog parks/parks that allow dogs around Rockingham County? Also interested in puppy play dates.

Depending on his size they have play groups at club canine in Portsmouth.  You could check them out.  Also if you take classes at the NHSPCA in Stratham I belive they have classes as well and there is a dog park in Portsmouth.

I don't know Rockingham County at all, but I go to the dog park in Concord pretty often, and it's always a good time.

We love the dog park in Portsmouth! We drive form northern MA to go there it's awesome! Lots of friendly dogs and people!

Derry has a big off the leash dog park off of fordway extention. It can get extremely busy though. I'd suggest checking it out first at a very slow time (mid day during the week) because it can be really overwhelming especially for a new dog. Weekends are busiest.

Rye Beach is also dog friendly but during restricted hours. I believe its before 9am and after 7pm from memorial day to columbus day. I'm not sure what the rules are for off season, but there are signs every where once you get there.
