these were great grilling recipes

we had friends over Saturday night, and I usually only entertain with tried and true recipes, but I looked these over and knew that I would like the combination of ingredients, so I served all new recipes:

i loved these:

i did not have white pepper, and i just shook some black pepper from my shaker over it.

instead of thighs or breasts, i bought pre-made unseasoned chicken kebobs (made with red onion and colored peppers) and used this marinade on them. i doubled the marinade for the amount i bought - 10 big kebobs. after grilling, i spritzed with the lemon and tented like it said.

i didn't have red pepper flakes, and i over pulsed all the minced ingredients in an overzealous attempt to mince quickly by using the food processor, but this was still delicious!

also grilled potato slices (sprayed with Pam, drizzled olive oil, heavy sprinkling of garlic powder and lightly salted), steamed corn on the cob, and a salad made with our CSA lettuces and mesculun, and then carrots, cucumbers, green peppers, cherry tomatoes and fresh mozzarella balls marinated in oil with sundried tomatoes and parsley.
