Rachel

I saw your pic of the mojito on FB and it looked awesome! Can you share the recipe? :-)

Also how did you make your grilled wings? I have a bunch frozen and need some ideas how to use them. Thanks!!

Hope you feel better as the day goes on, Canada dry ginger ale and saltines are my friend on days after too much partying.

Re: Rachel

  • Haha thanks, I just had lunch and am feeling much better :)

Strawberry-lemon mojitos (recipe is per drink)

    2 strawberries, quartered

    2 medium sized lemon wedges

    Small handful mint

    2 oz rum

    1/2 oz simple syrup

Lemon La Croix (I love using this because it's easy, and I have them laying around anyway, but club soda and some fresh lemon juice would work too)

Muddle strawberries, lemon and mint together -- make sure to do it well, so that the strawberries and lemon really release their juices.

    Add rum and simple syrup.

Add ice, and top with enough la croix to fill the glass

    ENJOY!!

    Wings

Seriously, I dont' even really like wings but I was chowing down on these. Grilling them was so easy -- we put on the sauce on first and coated all the wings. Place them on a med-high heat grill for about 5 minutes. Flip, close the cover, turn the hear down to med-low and let them cook for about 15-20 mins. Done! This is the recipe we used and I would highly recommend the sauce:

  • Awesome thanks!! Those wings sound great too! Maybe I'll try this for 4th of July festivities!
