A bee stung me on the sole of my foot Saturday (yes, I am talented; laugh away.) It itches like crazy. I can't scratch because it's on the bottom of my foot, and scratching tickles.

I did that when I was little! I stepped on a bee on the playground. Ouch! I'm sorry! Silly problem I have? I need to find one form and I have no idea where it is and I have no desire to find it but in order to complete my last few apps I need it. I feel like having another hard cider instead...

RIght now, my hand smells like mustard. I made DH a snack of salami, mustard and bread. Unfortunately, mustard appears to be one of many things that make my tummy unhappy. So every time I smell it, I kinda want to yak. I should wash it. But then I'd have to get up. You see my dilemma.

Also, I want to tell my family about the baby. Not because it will be exciting and I can't wait to see their  faces (which is also true) but so I have someone new to complain to! The ladies on the bump have got to be bored with my whole "Everything makes me want to puke" posts. But The Bump and DH are the only ones that know. Also, I feel guilty about complaining. I'm so happy to be suffering like this, because it means I'm PG, but it's really unpleasant and uncomfortable!

I have a flea bite on the bottom of my foot right now, so I totally empathize with you.

The cleaning staff actually cleaned our work fridge & threw away my lunch for today.

I bought these jelly-type sandals at Old Navy for a few bucks each. I got pink and silver. They reek. Whatever they're made out of smells like skunk butt. I tried washing them, spraying them with vinegar, leaving the outside to air out... nothing works. The smell hurts my head and my tummy. I feel bad that I'll have to get rid of brand new sandals, but they make me sick. And they were only like $2 each.

It's 85 in the house and 77 outside. This not using the ac thing is great until evening. I want my swamp cooler back. At least then you could blast the hot air out using barely any energy.

Yeah but when it gets over 90 you're screwed! It's just hot and humid with it on. We had a swamp cooler in our downstairs (most of the house) and AC upstairs growing up in Fresno. So we'd live upstairs during the day and migrate downstairs at night. Or be in my grandparent's pool.

And it's 77 outside here now, too!

plastic = oil. They're cheap and that's why they stink. Sorry, but it's true. The formula they used in the 80s was different than the formula they use now. Now they're all about corner cutting.

I would take them back and say the off-gassing is making you sick.

Yep. You need some arty neighbors. I've used pottery clay but you could try facial mask clay if you have any of that handy.

That's what I thought. I was excited to find "jellies" but won't be making that mistake again. They're super gross.

I don't have my receipt anymore, and it's been a few weeks since I bought them. I don't know if I can take them back. I might try to give them away or donate them. Are they recyclable?

I brought my bag of yoga stuff to work yesterday so I could go straight to class after work. When I got to the studio I looked at my bag and I didn't have any pants or shorts. I didn't have time to go home so I dug through a bag that I was supposed to take to Goodwill and found a super old pair of shorts that are ridiculously short and in no way appropriate for me to wear but I had no choice. Luckily there were only three people in my class last night. And I didn't flash anyone.

I may or may not have spent 10 minutes in a hissy fit last night because the puppy went to DH instead of me at bedtime.

And during that hissy fit, I may or may not have felt like crying because EVERYONE LOVES DH BETTER THAN THEY LOVE ME AND I DON'T HAVE ANYONE!

(I also may or may not have melted a little bit when DH rubbed my back and told me that his tail wags every time he sees me. I mean, come on! That is delicious and unfair!)

I have a Holter monitor hooked up to me (to monitor my heart rate to assess why I get these odd palpitations). Go figure that the two days I have to wear it are like the hottest days of the year! So, while everyone else is wearing all these cute, breezy blouses, I'm in full coverage mode with a shirt that goes all the way up to my neck, and a cardigan to help cover the bulge of the wires.

i too stepped on a bee .. although i thought i had stepped on a pine needle (we had the kind of pine tree w/ short needles in our yard) and just pulled the stinger out like it was a pine needle .. OUCH !! a few hrs later.

I ordered bras from VS that are ultimately a size too small so I need to return some of the stuff. But I mixed up their individual numbered packages like I always say I won't do and now I have to go play "match the bra with the meaningless number using the incomprehensible abbreviated description" so I can figure out what to put on the form. Fun!
