do you get manis and/or pedis ?
Re: poll - mani/pedi
i got a pedi today for the first time in 2 years and it was fantastic!!!
i didnt get my first pedi till college and i got them every so often in college..... but i think i have gotten only 3 or 4 since 2006! i usually paint my own toenails.
i have only gotten like 4 manicures in my whole life - and i got the fake nails. fake nails just make my real nails SOOO thin and unhealthy afterwards
during the summer I go once a month to get pedicures but I am trying to be better about doing it myself this summer. It's something I do with the BFF that we don't do with other people, it's gotten pretty serious
I rarely get manis because they just don't last on my nails. I tend to keep my nails a bit longer so the polish chips really fast. I do like to paint them with a pale pink so when they do start to chip it's not as noticeable.

No the last time I got a mani was for my wedding and I got fake nails on then. Which was only like the 3rd time to get them and I hated them the entire time. They do make your nails so thin and it takes awhile before they get back to normal.
I have had a pedi maybe 2 times in my life. Honestly I hate people touching my feet and it makes me so uncomfortable that I can not relax. So I paint my own toenails but I think they look as good. Sometimes I do soak them but not all the time.
I get them maybe once a year.
I got a mani/pedi a few weeks ago and was so disappointed in the pedi. My heels were so rough the next day, and the toe nail polish chipped in just a few days. Last summer I had a pedi that lasted over a month! I was so excited b/c I could barely reach my toes to change the polish.
Heather, be careful getting a pedi now. Last summer my ankles and feet swelled so badly from the hot water that I could barely walk later that day and the next day.
Nope.
I've never had a pedi, and I kinda refuse to. I hate the very thought of someone touching my feet.
I've had a few mani's, but really...I don't love them. I don't find them relaxing, and I've had one or two that have actually hurt (when they were doing whatever with the cuticles). I like the end result, though.
