Dear Community,
Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

I moved to Savannah a few years ago and signed up for it. Shortly after I got here, I was all alone and my computer died and I was freaking out about my lack of communication with DH (BF at the time) and my family. I know we had cell phones and all but that wasn't always the most effective way.
I had an old computer tower that had some pictures and stuff stored on it, but I didn't ever use it. I went on free cycle and got a flat panel monitor so that I was able to get online and stay in touch.
It doesn't seem like much, but it was huuuuge for me at the time.
