Good places to shop in Sac for clothes...

I am in desperate need of some nice pants and other clothing items for work.  I've haven't needed business casual clothes in a few years, and this new job requires them.  Any great places to start looking in Sac?  Thanks!!

Re: Good places to shop in Sac for clothes...

  • Hmmmm....are you looking for Sacramento area ONLY places? Or just shopping in general?

Oh, and what's your budget? I can suggest boutiques that are great, but break my bank. ;)

As for the mall stuff for work clothes....Banana for sure, a little Anne Taylor and some Loft, Nordy's, Macy's sometimes, H&M for layering basics, I do a lot of Gap shopping for casual Friday or Khakis, and I'll even head out to Folsom for Banana outlet (they recently opened one there). I wish I could afford/fit into more J. Crew, but somehow my body just isn't made for their clothes.

    did I mention banana? =)

Hehe, so I should stay within 20 feet of banana, huh?  I can do that!  :)  Yeah, I am looking for anything, not just local chains.  I would love to find some good deals.  Your suggestions are great, I will def. be checking these out this week!  Thank you!

And I work in Folsom currently, so I could check out the outlets on my lunch, I just never have time to navigate the shops.  But with your suggestions I hope to be successful.

  • The BR outlet is fantastic!! I get most of my clothes there and they have sales all.the.time.

  • I love NY & Co, Ann Taylor Loft, and catching a few things at Target & Kohls.
  • Don't forget about Nordstrom Rack, Lohmann's and Saks 5th Ave Outlet. I've gotten great deals on suits at both Lohmann's and the Rack. I could seriously live between Banana, the banana outlet and the Rack. =)
