headache question and BC rant
Q: If I took 2 Midol a day for the past week, could today's headache be caffeine withdrawal? Typically I consume no caffeine each day. 2 pills are 120 mg, which appears to be equivalent to one cup of coffee or almost 4 cans of Coke.
Rant: I really hate these birth control pills that are giving me cramps for an entire week every month. It's ridiculous. Without BC, it was just 1 day each cycle.
Re: headache question and BC rant
When I was on BC pills I had migraines all the time. I think DP said that she did too. I know that's not helpful but it might be something to think about. I told me doctor that she needed to find another thing to help with this PCOS bull because they weren't an option.
Speaking of, have you had any news is regards to it?
Well the first month on the pill was awful. Truly terrible. I told my doctor and she just said, it will take 3 months for your body to adjust. And she was sort of right, it was never as bad again, but it's it's still not right. Weeks 1 and 2 are fine, week 3 I start bleeding and having bad cramps all week, and week 4 (when I actually get to the placebos) things calm down and act like a normal period.
I just finished my 4th month, which was supposed to be where everything is normal. Well, it wasn't. But, I was only planning on doing this for 6 months so I'm afraid to switch to something else that will start off really bad again. For a while I considered staying on longer because no condoms is nice. But, due to the side effects, combined with the fact that I'd like to see if any of this helped me regulate, I'm going to stick with the plan of only doing 2 more months.
So long story short, no I don't have any updates. I guess we'll see what happens in a few months now that I've lost a little weight and done this BC experiment.
How about you? Any news?
