Not sure if I should be offended, but I am...

Redacted to protect the not so innocent...

In the 10 years family member and spouse have been married I have been invited to their home exactly 1 time...  The day after the settled on their first house they had a "painting party" and the entire family came over to help them pain their new house.  They moved about 5 years ago and I have NEVER been to the new house for any family functions.  (They have things, I am just not invited...)

Except, about every other month I receive an e-vite to a home sales party.  The ONLY time I get an invitation is when this person wants my to buy something!?!?

Maybe I wouldn't care so much if I had been invited to other (non-sales) things or if this person didn't have these sales party's all the time.

I feel like the invitation should say, "Come over to my house and buy something so I can get freebies."  At this point it is beyond annoying and bordering on offensive.

End Rant.

Just wanted to note that in general I don't mind the occasional direct sales party... it is just that this particular situation has totally rubbed me the wrong way.
