I have been in my home for 4 years, and am finally thinking about decorating our dining room. I am having trouble finding drapery panels that are 96" and will coordinate with the wine colored roman shade (needs to stay or Dh will kill me), and are relatively inexpensive. I would like to keep them somewhat light in colour, since the room is a bit dark.
Here is the room:

I was thinking of these drapes.

Any other ideas or advice wrt drapery?
Re: Dining room drapes.
These are available in 96", from Country Curtains:
I have striped panels from there in my LR & DR, and really like them.
ETA: Do you have really high ceilings? That looks like a small window to need 96" panels. Mine are 84", which gave me a lot more options.
I don't like the idea of a roman shade and curtains.
Maaaybe if the roman shade is subtle (white).
You can get 96" curtains at Bed Bath Beyond and Pottery Barn.
Edited to add example:
Vitrine! I automatically associate that word with this photo. lol.
I think I like the drapes, and it kind of looks like they would go with your wall color, but it's hard to say from the two pics. And it's hard to tell whether or not they would look good with the shade. The shade looks dark and I'm not really seeing that color in the drapes. And please explain why your DH would give two sh!ts about a tiny roman shade, let alone be upset if you removed it.
IMO the best way to choose any patterned textile when you already have a wall color is take a paint swatch to the store and hold it up to various draperies to see what looks good with it.

I used to be kris216.
I would also like to say I think you should get longer ones and hang it higher up to make more of a statement. Not just placing on/very close to the window trim.
Thx for the ideas-- keep them coming!
96" would go to the top of the window. I don't want them higher than that as it would not look good with the roman shade, IMO.
I like the ones Susie posted above.I will check out Country Curtains. I see they ship to Canada, but it'll be $35 shipping, plus customs fees.
I also love these:
