Teacher fakes breast cancer: this makes me sick!

Re: Teacher fakes breast cancer: this makes me sick!

  • That is weird...who does that? Maybe that's one of those "bad teachers" they were talking about?
  • Believe it or not, we had the exact same thing happen at a school I taught at not too long ago.  We donated hundreds of dollars for so called treatments that she couldn't afford and she also got some of her bills paid and gifts and help for Christmas because she claim to not have any money.  (we have a very giving staff)  A few people on my team got really suspicious because she would tell us way too much information about her life and she started losing track of her lies.  We went to administration and after some detective work, she had to admit it.  Come to find out, on top of all of the money she was getting from us, she still managed to steal cash from the school from students turning in money for an event.  She was sick.  We couldn't believe she actually did that and everyone was really hurt (and pissed).  She even lied to the child that lived with her and had him involved also.  But that's a whole other story also full of lies.

  • Oh by the way, she even went as far as wrapping herself in bandages and attempted to show someone her so called wounds from surgery.  When my principal called her on it, she asked to see the scars and she refused.  The principal said to either show her or she was calling the police and that's when she admitted to it.
