Blue angels?

Have you ever seen them preform? They are going to be in Florida while we are there so we are going to see them. Some of my fb friends say it is wondeful and worth seeing. I am excited and I hope Jordan enjoys it.

Is it bad that all I could think of when I saw the title of this post was lighting farts on fire?

  • They are fantastic! I would take Jordan for sure! He will be like a kid in a candy store if he likes planes. The noise might be really loud for Preston, so if you have someone who can watch him for that stint, it would be great, if not earplugs are a must for a baby. In my experience their shows last 20-30 minutes. Where are you seeing them in Florida, Eglin/Hurlburt/Tampa?

I've seen them both places and other places... I'd be more than welcome to do research via my base contacts to see if he can see the planes a head of time. I know for some kids to be "on" the planes and then see them fly mean more.

That would be wonderful! Jordan loves planes we are actually going to museum in fort Walton that is suppose to have some planes just for him to see one. The blue angels are performing in Pensacola Florida on July 9th so we will go there. Thank you for the info on the ear plugs I will grab Preston a pair from work to put in his bag.

  • LOL! I totally thought farts too.
  • They're great! DH works on an air force base, and we watch them whenever they're in town. You and Jordan will have a great time!

  • I highly recommend checking them out. I'm super antsy for the air show this year and hoping I can go. Our town alternates between the Blue Angels and the Thunderbirds. Lemme tell ya...those pilots are so yummy. wowsa! I also 2nd the ear plugs, and maybe some for yourself just in case.

  • Chicago has a fantastic air and water show, and the blue angels are always there.  I would definitely check it out.  The boys will love it!  Definitely grab Preston a pair of air plugs, and it might not hurt to have a pair for Jordan just in case.

  • Doesn't sound like you'll get to look in a blue angel, but they will have other aircraft that you can tour :) I hope the boys have a blast!

Wish I was down there, that's my old stomping grounds!
