who is doing a garden this year? (ksun?)
Just curious if anyone else is doing a garden? What did you plant?
Re: who is doing a garden this year? (ksun?)
I have one.
We planted:
11 tomato plants
green bean
pumpkins
squash
strawberry plants
raspberry bush
basil
eggplant
green onion (already done though)
lettuce
broccoli
I think that is it.
eta: green and red peppers.
I have a "kinda" small garden this year!
I have:
14 tomato plants (3 heirloom)
Green beans
red peppers
green peppers
jalapeno peppers
basil
celery (I thought it was cilantro when i bought it... totally stupid mistake, it's actually doing alright though, we'll see how it turns out)
onions
strawberries
lettuce (bibb, romaine, leaf and it's all out of control right now!!!)
Serendipity3, South Beach, Miami, FL 2012
We planted a garden. We have:

Carrots
Snap peas

Cucumber
Lettuce
Onions
Tomatoes
Tomatillos
And an herb garden (sage, dill, basil, lemongrass, flat leaf parsley, cilantro, taragon, dill)
I have:
Oregano (from last year)
Chives (from the previous owner)
Basil
Lettuce (2 kinds)
Onions
Garlic (I just dug up - did not get very big)
spinach

Jalapeno's
Green Pepper
Squash
cucumbers (slicing and pickling)
green beans
watermelon
blueberries
hanging strawberry plant
*I am closing to killing a chipmunk.*
I just realized I never replied! Sounds like everyone has a nice assortment!
This year I did:
-cucumbers, two different kinds
-strawberries
-basil
-corn
-a huge assortment of peppers (bell and hot)
-pumpkins
-squash
-beans (rabbits ate them)
-lettuce (planted for the rabbits to eat, and they have!)
-watermelon
-cantelope
I hope everyone has good luck this summer and gets a lot of great veggies and fruit! This rain we've been getting will sure help!
