Sweet Bakery in Ellicott City

Hey Ladies,

Hoping you guys can clear this up for me. I am trying to order a cake for my sister's bday and she requested a cake from Sweet Bakery from Ellicott City.  At least, I'm pretty sure it's called Sweet-this is all based on our memory from when we went cake tasting for my wedding back in 2008. But I am certain it was in Ellicott City. I'm just a bit confused because I thought for sure it was on Main Street and the website I am getting has the address on 239 W. Read Street. (forgive me but I don't know this area very well)

And I'm also thrown off becausec when I do google maps street view I also get a Zachi Cafe and then the 8143 Main Street address for Sweet Bakery comes up with reported to be closed.

 Anyway, do you gals know what the deal is? Did the bakery just move? Which is cool I just want to make sure it's the same yummy goodness I remember.

Sweet did move, yes.  That's why their website says "From Main Street to Mid Town," and they reference their new location in Mount Vernon.

I read something about it moving out of EC and to somewhere else. (There is a big kerfluffle, because they were going to put a Subway in that space.) So, I think you have the right one.

yes they moved.  i am kind of bitter but oh well.  i work in mt vernon, need to go seek them out.
