Pls. recommend a SE hair salon!

We moved to SE PDX about 1.5 years ago. We LOVE it! My only problem...I haven't found a stylist that I love. I've been going to Dosha but am looking for a change. I've also tried Salon Blu but got a bad cut (she was young, perhaps just learning?).

 Please recommend your stylist!

We moved here 3 years ago and I have been a hair salon slut.

I was consistently seeing Tyra at Akasu (on N. Williams) for 1.5 years but got tired of the "long" trek (it was really only 3 miles away but I wanted to walk). So I cheated and since then I have been to Grace (NW in the pearl), Fancy Salon (SE Division), Primp (SE Division), Dosha (Hawthorne). I haven't found "the one". I'm going back to Tyra next month.

My hair stylist is Chai. She's been at different salons, but right now she's at the Proper on SE Grand Ave. I never trust anyone else to touch my curls. She knows just how to tame them .

I was going to Novare Salon in Sellwood for about 2 years and highly reccomend anyone except Dannielle (long story short).  They are a great salon and I was happy there for a long time.

I've been going to Jennifer at Valerium Salon on 38th and Sandy, she is AWESOME (although more money than I'm used to) but my hair has never looked better.  I've seen her 3 times now and my hair looks fabulous every time.

I don't reccomend Grace (in the Pearl).  Blech.  Also, Chachi SUCKS.

Au Salon is the best. I moved up from Cali a couple of years ago and I need my hair done correctly! I go to Hannah but everyone there keeps up on their schooling. Cheers!

I'm a whore for Teal Salon.  In the interest of full disclosure, my sister in law works there, but I started with them long before she was hired and she's actually not my stylist.  They're in Sellwood.
