As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

I've got DirecTV & AT&T DSL. Love it. AT&T was a PITA to set-up, but now it works great.
If you decide to come to the DirecTV darkside, I'll give you my account # so we can each get $10 off our monthly bill
You mind if I ask how much you pay? We're paying $89.99/mo (plus $7 for modem rental) for cable/net/phone, and I'm just not sure we'll be able to beat it.

$55 a month for DirecTV with whole home DVR, HD service. No HBO or anything fancy.
DSL is $20 a month.
W.T.F. Our Comacst bill (HD, no fancy stations, DVR & internet) is $130 a month!
We got DirectTV installed and DH called Comcast afterward to cancel. I wanted him to try and negotiate with them first, but I guess he didn't want to deal with it.
Comcast did not even try to keep us as a customer. Hmph.

Seriously. I went through issues with Comcast when we were about to close on our house because I was dumb & they were my first choice. I started bitching & moaning about bad customer service from them on Twitter & one of their PR people responded. She asked me to email her & she'd see what she could do to help.
I wrote out the entire saga, sent it to her & never heard a word. Awesome PR, Comcast. Just awesome.
I blast them any chance I get.
