Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

I swear I went back to look for it, but couldn't remember when we were talking about it. I need to call Comcast today re: our bill, and I forgot to bookmark that article for pointers. Anybody still have it?

    You mind if I ask how much you pay? We're paying $89.99/mo (plus $7 for modem rental) for cable/net/phone, and I'm just not sure we'll be able to beat it.

    Seriously. I went through issues with Comcast when we were about to close on our house because I was dumb & they were my first choice. I started bitching & moaning about bad customer service from them on Twitter & one of their PR people responded. She asked me to email her & she'd see what she could do to help.

    I wrote out the entire saga, sent it to her & never heard a word. Awesome PR, Comcast. Just awesome.

    I blast them any chance I get.

  • We have Brighthouse and when we called to cancel cable they didn't bat an eye. I didn't try to "I can't afford it" line though, since our intention was really to cancel cable and not try for a lower rate.
